The holiday season is all about family. It's a time when families come back together, slow down a bit and enjoy life.
So many people have come up to us and said, "You were such a part of my life growing up. We have wonderful memories of you and your family and Christmas." We think the best gift you can give is a memory or a tradition. We hope you and your family will join us to celebrate the holidays this year.
It is going to be an experience - not just a show but a holiday experience. After giving it a try on Broadway and in Chicago and Los Angeles the past few years, we think we are really hitting our stride. We are looking forward to making it even better this year.
We grew up working on all those original holiday TV specials, from Andy Williams' to Perry Como's. It was just that innocent era of sitting in the living room watching Donny and Marie with the whole family as well as other holiday songs and skits coming through the TV set. Nobody's doing this anymore. Our show is the tradition that we will not let die.
This tour is going to feature some clips of our 1970s holiday shows. You'll see footage that you have not seen in a long time.
I think people are going to be very surprised by this show. We will celebrate all the great memories that people have of the Christmas TV specials and I've got to get 'Puppy Love' in there but Marie and I never stop looking for ways to work with our dancers and our band to deliver a show that will make our audience forget about the problems of the world for that moment we spend together.
